Sukkot is one of the Big Three holidays, times of gathering, harvesting, and joy. And with sukkot comes the opportunity to sing some of Base Bay's favorite liturgy, Hallel, a set of joyful, praiseful poems from the book of Psalms.
Hebrew, transliteration and translation for Hallel will be provided -- no experience necessary!
Come at 9:30 am for shacharit, the morning prayers before Hallel, or to meditate and pray on your own
Come at 10:15 am for Hallel: spirited, soulful singing, grounded in the traditional liturgy and by wordless melodies.
Come at 11 am to nosh and shmooze on a light brunch.
We'll have some extra lulav & etrog sets to share or feel free to bring your own.
