What can Priya Parker and Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel have to teach us? Obviously, hosting Shabbat. Through text, discussion, and hands-on learning this cohort will explore the values, the feelings, and the recipes behind how to become a tremendous Shabbat host.
Who is this class for? This space is for both the regular Shabbat hosters looking for more meaning AND someone completely brand-new to Shabbat (let alone hosting!) and everyone in between. In fact, we need and want the multiplicity of experiences and perspectives so we can learn from one another.
Gather with us weekly for 6 sessions on Thursday Nights from October 30th through December 11th
Participants able to attend most of the sessions will be set-up through our Community Partner OneTable to receive financial support for hosting Shabbat meals for other Base community members and beyond!
