Join us at our home to welcome the beginning of Shabbat with prayerful music and communal singing. We will wander through the Psalms that lead us up to and through the entrance of the Sabbath Bride - Kabbalat Shabbat, with familiar and new melodies led by R' Jackson and community musicians. We will move through Kabbalat Shabbat with instruments starting at 6:30pm, take a moment to schmooze and if you haven't lit candles to 'bring in' Shabbat around 7:15pm, and then a songful Maariv (evening prayer) acapella.

Unlike in previous months, because sundown is earlier we will be using instruments through the traditional beginning of Shabbat.

We will give everyone two chances to light candles, once before we beginning Kabbalat Shabbat and one after 'candle lighting time' at the end of Lecha Dodi. We welcome folks to light when they feel comfortable!

"What if I just want to sing?" Come! "What if i just want to listen?" Come! "What if 'musical services' are not usually my vibe?" Come! This will be different.

Get a glimpse of the melodies here with our special playlist that we have been curating.

Space is LIMITED. Friends, flatmates, family members are more than welcome - we just ask that you RSVP for them as well!
